Hearthwood Dental Care serves patients from Concord, CA at our Walnut Creek office, 12 to 13 minutes from central Concord via Oak Grove Road or Ygnacio Valley Road. Concord patients come to us for routine checkups, root canals, dental implants and emergency care, often on the same day. We accept most PPO plans and offer a $365-per-year membership plan for patients without insurance. New patients are welcome.
Getting to Our Office From Concord
From central Concord, take Oak Grove Road or Ygnacio Valley Road south into Walnut Creek. Oak Grove Road is the shorter route at about 5 miles, and Ygnacio Valley Road is about 6.6 miles. Both take roughly 12 to 13 minutes in normal traffic. Tap Get directions for the route from your door.

Insurance and Payment
Concord patients with dental insurance can use most PPO plans here, including Delta Dental, Aetna, Cigna, MetLife, Guardian, United Concordia, Ameritas, Humana, Principal and Sun Life Financial. Before your first visit, we check your benefits and send claims to your insurer for you, then give you a cost estimate before treatment starts. We don’t accept Medi-Cal or HMO plans.
Without insurance, you can join our membership plan for $365 a year. It covers 2 exams, 2 cleanings and routine X-rays, plus 15% off most other treatment, with no waiting periods. It isn’t insurance, and the discount doesn’t apply to implants, orthodontics or selected cosmetic procedures. What to Expect at Your First Visit
Your first visit includes a review of your medical and dental history, X-rays and photos, a professional cleaning with our hygienist, and a comprehensive exam with Dr. Addison Yu, who goes over his findings and recommendations with you.
